Today I took Brooke to get her ears pierced. I waited entirely too long to pierce them and I figured that I better do them now before she gets any older. So, I planned on taking her to the same jewelery store that I took Reese, but they no longer exist. So, my mom and I drove around the Chino Spectrum seeking a jewelery store. We couldn't find one and decided to settle on Wal-mart. We went in, were ignored for awhile and then told that the girl that pierces babies ears won't be in until later. So, we went back to my parent's house and looked up jewelery stores in Chino and Chino Hills. Eventually, we found one that pierced babies ears.
I decided on small 14k gold studs (don't ask how much). When Reese had her ears pierced, both were done at the same time. So, when the lady told me she would be doing one at a time I cringed because I knew Brooke would have to go through the pain twice. Of course, Brooke is smiling and observing the lady. Then the piercing came and then the screaming, then the calming down, piercing again, and screaming once more. It was all over within a matter of minutes but it always seems much longer when you're anticipating the pain and screaming of your precious baby girl!
Here she is with her earrings!
